Direct Connection with Execution
Marine accommodation requires far more than correctly drawn plans. It requires an understanding of how materials perform, how they are received on site, handled and adjusted, what tolerances they allow, which regulatory requirements they must meet and what issues may arise during installation. That is why our engineering is directly connected to execution. From the earliest stages, we can anticipate requirements, optimise solutions, reduce undefined areas, improve material planning and avoid technical decisions that work on paper but create problems on site.
Applied Interior Design
The interior design package encompasses the design and finishing elements that create functional, comfortable and visually coherent living spaces on board. Far from being associated only with luxury, our technical office adapts it pragmatically to different vessel types, always prioritising ergonomics, material durability, marine aesthetics and strict optimisation of the available space.
We produce the vessel’s key construction drawings as an integrated package: insulation, flats and profiles, setting-out, room dimensions, underlay, flooring, panelling, ceilings, doors and technical furniture. We directly connect the General Arrangement Plan (GA)—what and where—with the Building Specification—how and with what.
This integration between engineering and installation enables us to provide more reliable and efficient solutions, better adapted to the project’s actual conditions, whether for newbuilds, repairs, conversions or marine refurbishments. Marine engineering applied to accommodation, developed by people who understand the trade, the materials and the work site.
Dual Technical Validation: We work at two critical stages. During the quotation phase, we develop sufficient engineering to estimate accurately and avoid surprises. During execution, drawings are produced by people who understand actual installation on board, preventing clashes with other trades and critical delays.
Technical capability to address design issues: When third-party engineering contains gaps, ambiguities or undefined areas that compromise constructability, our technical office has the proven capability to identify and resolve them independently before they affect the workshop or installation berth.
